New consultant

Welcome Leonel!

Professor at the University of Coimbra, Dr. Leonel Pereira dedicates an important part of his research to the field of marine biotechnology. His integration as a project consultant will be an added value for the development of task 4 "Asparagopsis armata exploitation: from harvest to market", namely for sub-task 4.3 "Market value and impact on coastal populations". Dr. Leonel Pereira will have a preponderant role in supporting the coordination of the activities to be developed in such sub-task and will also participate as a facilitator in the seminar and in the training session foreseen for the final project, events where it is intended to evaluate the interest of the socioeconomic fabric regional cooperation in the development of a seaweed harvesting activity and to promote the interaction between the private sector and public institutions in the transfer of knowledge and technologies.
